Volunteering is fun. Big time.

Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most enjoyable things you’ll ever do. It is also one of the most fulfilling. You have the opportunity to help shape a child’s future for the better by empowering him or her to achieve. And the best part is, it’s a lot of fun. You and your Little can share the kinds of activities you already like to do.

Play sports together. Go on a hike. Read books. Eat a pizza with extra anchovies. Or just give some advice and inspiration. Whatever it is you enjoy, odds are you’ll enjoy it even more with your Little—and you’ll be making a life-changing impact.

Volunteering just a few hours a month with a child can start something amazing. So why not apply to be a Big today? There are kids out there ready to get started. Are you?

Whether you get involved as a volunteer or as a donor, we welcome and thank you for your support!

To become a Big, start by filling out our Volunteer Application and the Pre-Interview Questionnaire.

Other opportunities to get involved:

Make a one-time gift or join the Mentor Circle as a monthly donor TODAY. The services we provide to our local children are made possible through donations from generous community members, like you.

Committees oversee all of our special events, volunteer programs, public relations and marketing efforts.  Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County relies on dedicated community volunteers to serve on our committees. To find out more, click here.

Local businesses can receive great marketing exposure, and help us to underwrite the costs of our very popular special events as corporate or individual sponsors.  To find out more about sponsorship opportunities, call our office at 406-587-1216.

We encourage low-cost and no-cost match activities.  Donations of tickets to sporting events, concerts, and community events allow our Bigs and Littles to enjoy these activities together, at no cost to the volunteers.  Additionally, community members can host fun activities and outings for our matches, or donate such things as sports and outdoor equipment.  To donate or discuss activity opportunities, call your office at 406-587-1216.
